Charlie (b.1989) earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in Comparative Literature from the University of San Francisco in 2011. Upon graduation he moved to Seattle and began to study drawing under graduates of the Aristides Classical Atelier. In 2012 he joined the Core program at the Grand Central Atelier in New York City. Charlie was the recipient of a first place student award at the Grand Central Atelier, an Art Renewal Center scholarship winner, and is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, and at the Salmagundi Club.
Charlie was the sculptor in residence at the Grand Central Atelier from Sept 2016-Sept 2017. He taught figure sculpture, portrait sculpture, and ecorché anatomy classes to core and part time students at the Grand Central Atelier. He has taught workshops at the Grand Central Atelier, Gage Academy, and Classical Realism Workshops.
